Our Newsletter

The members get a weekly newsletter to keep up with what's happening in the Co-op and the organic political world. We encourage our members to go on line and voice their opinion through links provided. A copy of the newsletter is available here.

Articles from the Organic Consumers Association are often reprinted in our newsletter. They are a very active organization, working hard to keep "organic" politically clean. I highly suggest subscribing to their organization.

Summer is Here!

The local vegetables have begun to arrive! New Jersey in June produces greens, peas and berries. So the rest is still from further away, but not as far away! Georgia is producing now too, instead of just California and Florida. We have a few New Jersey farmers lined up to provide produce this season as soon as it's ready.

We now have a Pick-up Site in Madison and are looking for Pick-up Site hosts in other neighboring communities like Denville, Montville and Rockaway. If you are interested please contact Marnie to discuss what it entails.

We get bags of produce on an even & odd week system. Members pick up their baskets any time after 3 pm on Tuesdays or have it delivered for an extra $5.00 (in Mtn. Lakes only). There is no work requirement in this Co-op! Actual quantities of items will vary according to availability, price and case size. The dairy and meats come from Pennisylvania and New York State. This co-op has been in existance for over 30 years, changing with the times and the needs of the members.

Try a trial basket and enjoy the fresh organic flavors and the convenience of the Co-op, while knowing your eating habits are working toward a healthier earth.
